About Early Ed Essentials

Built for the way childcare programs actually run.

Early Ed Essentials is an advisory firm that helps childcare program directors navigate QRIS compliance, grant funding, and day-to-day operations — with services built around real deadlines, not generic consulting frameworks.

Our Mission

Give every childcare program access to the advisory support larger organizations take for granted.

Childcare program directors carry an enormous operational load — licensing, staffing, family needs, quality ratings, and funding, often all at once. Most of that load falls on people without a dedicated compliance team, a grants office, or a curriculum department behind them.

Early Ed Essentials exists to close that gap. We provide focused, practical advisory services in the areas that determine whether a program stays funded, stays compliant, and keeps improving: grant readiness, QRIS compliance, handbook and policy review, curriculum quality, and day-to-day operations.

We are not a coaching program and we do not sell ongoing retainers. Every engagement produces a specific, usable deliverable — a completed audit, a reviewed application, a finished toolkit — built around your actual timeline.

How We Work

Four principles behind every engagement.

Deliverable-First

Every engagement ends with a tangible work product — a completed audit report, a reviewed application, a finished toolkit. Not a conversation. A deliverable.

Built Around Your Deadlines

Grant cycles and compliance reviews do not wait. Our turnaround times and processes are built around the deadlines that govern your program, not ours.

Specific, Not Generic

We work from the real frameworks that govern your program — QRIS standards, CCDF requirements, state licensing rules — not generalized best-practice advice.

Confidential, Always

Every engagement is confidential. Your program's documentation, compliance gaps, and funding strategy stay between your team and ours.

Who We Serve

Childcare program directors who need expert support without the overhead of hiring for it.

We work with center directors, program administrators, and ECE leaders managing QRIS ratings, licensing compliance, grant cycles, and curriculum quality — often without a dedicated team to handle any one of those areas alone.

Our services are designed for programs that need a specific problem solved well: a handbook brought into compliance, a grant application strengthened before submission, a curriculum reviewed against quality standards. Not an open-ended consulting relationship.
